Internet Archive: Folktales of the World
Since I shared a story from Chile today at my 100-word story blog, that inspired me to check and see how many books from Richard Dorson's "Folktales of the World" series are available at Internet Archive. This is an excellent series intended both for the general reader and also for serious folklorists, and you can find 16 of the 20 books at Internet Archive! And the 4 that are missing are seriously rare; I don't have copies of those 4 myself, and there are not any available at AbeBooks used, at least not right now... but these 16 books offer PLENTY to read of course!
