Another "Spreadsheet Friday" and I've crossed a new milestone: there are over 4000 stories now listed in the African Diaspora Folktale Spreadsheet, from 65 different books and articles at the Internet Archive as sources!
And, of course, the big African Folktale Spreadsheet is available also, with over 10,000 stories there.
If you're curious about the process behind these two projects, I'll be giving a talk on March 30, together with Helen Nde of @MythologicalAfricans (yay!), as part of the Internet Archive's Library-as-Laboratory series. You can find out more about that at the Internet Archive blog. The recording of last week's presentation is available, then there will be another talk this Wednesday (March 16), and then Helen and I will be coming up next in the series after that on March 30. :-)
